VoiceLink always recommends advising the other party that the call is being recorded, however recordings can be made without the consent of the other party to the communication and deemed as admissible evidence under the following conditions as contained in the RICA ACT.

  1. Where you are party to the communication.

  2. Where you have received written consent from one of the parties to the communication; or 

  3. Where the recording has been made for the purpose of carrying on of business.

VoiceLink offers an automated call recording transcription service where you simply email your recorded file to VoiceLink, and by return you get a high level accurate transcription.

There is NO human intervention in this process, all processed files are automatically deleted from the VoiceLink servers. This service is only available for calls recorded in English, additional languages coming soon.
